Building 531 Abatement and Demolition

Magnitude: $182,016.86

Completion Date: 11/8/2024

Customer: WA Air National Guard

We demolished Building 531 and the adjoining sidewalk at Paine Field in Everett, Washington, completing full hazardous materials abatement and removing the structure, slab, foundations, and associated utility infrastructure (power, water, sanitary, and gas) in accordance with applicable regulations and utility requirements. We recycled and disposed of demolished materials as required, placed clean fill in demolition voids, and restored the site by grading and seeding all disturbed areas to provide positive drainage and a smooth, mowable surface. We protected existing landscaping and maintained public utility poles in place, removing shrubs or small trees only as approved by the Contracting Officer.
