We built out a new office suite per plan by constructing two new insulated steel-stud walls with 5/8” GWB to the acoustical ceiling, creating a secure, ADA-compliant reception area with a separate waiting room, then finishing and painting all new wall surfaces. We completed architectural modifications including a new vestibule opening with VCT flooring and transitions, a ballistic transaction window, a new workstation counter with grommets, new doors/frames, and infill of existing doors/openings. We performed associated electrical and low-voltage rough-in by adding required receptacles (including under-desk and IT closet outlets), installing dedicated IT closet circuits, hardwiring the fan/light, and relocating lighting controls. We also updated life-safety and security features by relocating/adding sprinkler heads, installing fire-retardant plywood and shelving in the IT closet, mounting TV brackets, and applying Level 3B blast mitigation film to the exterior window.

Federal bLDG. US Attoney’s Office Remodel

The purpose of this project is to refresh the existing USAO space. Project includes HVAC improvements, painting, carpet replacement, IT room development, and electrical/data service upgrade. The USAO Suite is located on the ground floor of the Richland Courthouse.

Office Build Out Rihcland Federal Building

Magnitude: $492,883.67

The purpose of multifaceted project involving hazardous material abatement, advanced fireproofing applications, and a modern office renovation. This project ensured a safe, compliant workspace while enhancing functionality and aesthetic appeal. Our team delivered high-quality results on schedule, prioritizing safety and efficiency throughout each phase of the process.

rEMODEL Judge Mendoza Chambers

Magnitude: $53,674.25

The purpose of this project is to renovate the 1st floor Judge’s Chambers at the Richland Courthouse. Scope includes removing, storing, and reinstalling existing furniture; removing existing carpet and installing vinyl plank flooring; and painting existing doors, door frames, casework, and the upper wall trim. Additional work includes re-laminating break room cabinets, furnishing and installing a dishwasher, and completing miscellaneous finish work required for a clean, complete renovation.

restripe rICHALND pARKING lOT

We demolished the existing auditorium flooring/stage, ceiling, finishes, and select walls, then rebuilt the space with a new 6” raised access floor, new ceiling grid/tiles, and upgraded power/communications. We relocated lighting, HVAC, sprinklers, and exit signage to the new ceiling height, installed new STC 45 doors and matching hardware (including a cipher lock), constructed a new entry containment room with required utilities and life-safety devices, completed NFPA testing, protected government-furnished seating and the rear wall, and coordinated relocating the safe to B446.

Richland cafeteria table& drink counter refresh

Magnitude: $11,900.00

We refreshed the cafeteria table and drink counter areas to improve appearance and functionality. We prepped surfaces and completed repairs as needed, then installed updated finishes to match existing conditions and design intent. We replaced or refinished worn components, including countertops and trim, and restored all disturbed areas to clean, ready-for-use conditions. Work was coordinated to minimize disruption and maintain a safe, operational space throughout.

rEPLACE eNTRANCE cANOPY rOOF

Magnitude: $11,341.00

Re-roof two existing entry canopies (approx. 240 SF total, verify in field) at the Richland Federal Building & USCH, 825 Jadwin Ave., Richland, WA by removing the existing fully-adhered asphalt sheet membrane and installing a new 20-year PVC roofing system. Work covers the South Loading Dock and East Breezeway Entry canopies and must comply with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards due to the building’s historic status.

Osha Fall hazard corrections federal bldg. & courthouse

Magnitude: $499,398.94

Completion Date: 9/2/2022

Customer: General Services Administration

Completed a full rooftop access and fall-protection upgrade, including site investigation, field measurements, and on-site supervision/coordination to verify existing conditions and confirm installation locations. Performed required demolition and disposal of existing components as needed to support the new safety system. Installed new rooftop access ladders with swing gates to control roof entry points, along with new rooftop access/crossover stairs complete with handrails to provide safe transitions across roof elevations and obstacles. Furnished and installed free-standing guardrail systems at designated roof edge and hazard areas, and installed free-standing warning line systems to establish clear set-backs from fall hazards. Completed final roof safety identification by installing painted or taped “WARNING” lines to clearly define restricted areas and improve overall roof safety compliance and long-term maintenance access.
