YAKIMA tRAINING cENTER uPGRADES AND rEPAIRS

We are performing site-civil and pavement upgrades at three Yakima Training Center locations. We are installing 28 tracked-vehicle flexors at the Bird Bath Wash Basin / Central Vehicle Wash Facility (Facility #862). We are removing rotted railroad ties, installing an asphalt sidewalk, replacing the wooden retaining wall with a concrete retaining wall, and modifying the fence height at the northwest corner of Building 396. We are sealing cracks and completing localized asphalt and concrete pavement repairs at the Vagabond Army Heliport.

Yakama Wolf point water systems control upgrades

Magnitude: $149,951.03

Completion Date: 1/15/26

Customer: Indian Housing Authority

We completed the Yakama Nation Wolf Point Water System Controls Upgrade by mobilizing to the site, demolishing and removing the existing pump disconnect and control panel, and installing a new duplex pump combination control and disconnect electrical panel with variable frequency drives for the two existing 5 HP well pumps. We modified the plumbing tree by installing a new magnetic flow meter, gate valves, an altitude/pressure gauge assembly with pressure transmitter, and chemical injection assemblies, then furnished and installed a remote telemetry unit in a dedicated enclosure to support internet-based SCADA compatibility. We tested and started up the upgraded control system, maintained uninterrupted water service during construction, and provided one day of operator training along with required closeout documentation and program backups.

Replace roof walking pads & seal termination bar william o. douglas building

Magnitude: $18,580.99

Completion Date: 10/15/2018

Customer: General Services Administration

Replaced nine (9) existing compact fluorescent stairwell fixtures at the East Stairwell of the William O. Douglas Building in Yakima, Washington with new energy-efficient LED fixtures per the project specifications and drawings. We safely disconnected power and performed lockout/tagout prior to removing the existing surface-mounted fixtures from the basement through the 3rd floor, then disposed of/recycled all removed fixtures and lamps off site in accordance with applicable regulations. We installed new LED fixtures (Lutron or approved equal) with emergency drivers, pulled dedicated neutrals for each lighting circuit with no shared neutrals, installed new single-pole switches, and re-energized and verified proper operation upon completion.

Completed roof safety and waterproofing improvements at the William O. Douglas Building in Yakima, WA by furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to install rubber walk pads and seal the existing roof termination bar. All work was performed in accordance with the project specifications and required attachments, with added care to protect the building’s historic character due to its National Register of Historic Places status.

Wapato police department tenant and security upgrades

Magnitude: $109,877.98

Completion Date: 12.20.2024

Customer: City of Wapato

We completed tenant improvements and comprehensive security upgrades for the City of Wapato, performing site work and selective demolition to prepare the facility for the new scope. Our team installed new security fencing and improved perimeter control to strengthen site security and access management. Inside the building, we constructed and installed new jail cells and associated security elements, upgraded window systems to improve durability and protection, and completed new interior wall work to support the revised layout and operational needs. We also repaired, prepped, and painted impacted surfaces throughout the project areas to deliver a clean, finished space. Upon completion, we restored all disturbed areas, cleaned the site, and returned the facility to safe, secure, and fully operational conditions.

White Swan Dental clinic ramp and staircase replacement

Magnitude: $248,951.44

Completion Date: In-progress

Customer: Indian Health Services

We are currently performing the White Swan Dental Clinic Ramp and Staircase project by mobilizing to the site, setting up barricades and work zones, demolishing and removing the existing wood stairs (and any associated concrete/paving in the way), completing utility locates, excavating and preparing the subgrade, placing new concrete footings/foundations and walkways, and then furnishing and installing a new ABA/ADA-compliant aluminum ramp and stair system with handrails/guardrails and required transitions. If included, we also install the new entrance canopy at the main entry.
